I think the interview didn't felt like it went into enough that i would expect. There was a lot of questions one by one that felt like going through a checklist instead of reasoning behind why something works in a way and what are the tradeoffs.

Was great, we covered a lot of ground quickly. I appreciated the feeling of a real interview, you were nicer than other people and spoke very clearly. The only thing I would say, that my screening interviewer picked into everything I was saying and prodded to get me to dig deeper without necessarily letting me finish talking out the explanation. And when he found my network weakness he kept finding opportunities to reach back into it throughout the interview. :') It was kind of intense, and very fast paced. I can't speak to how common that technique is but it might make for good practice in mocks because it does make the experience more intimidating and thus better prepare someone for a harsher interviewer.

I liked the - "why, what if, what are the alternatives etc.." questions. It was more like testing both depth and breadth as we go deeper. It mimicked a real interview.
